Several very good (and affordable) beachfront restaurants are just steps from Casa Marina. One of the best coffee shops in town is a 30-second walk. SJDS is a charming town filled with fun boutique shops, restaurants, bars, and of course, the beach! There are two natural foods stores. San Juan del Sur is a walkable town! Walking from one end to the other, either east/west or north/south, is no more than 10 minutes. You will not need a car for in-town. Walk, bike or skate! A taxi ride from one side of town to the other is only $1. If you want to visit other cities, you could rent a car. There is a shuttle running to the beach several times a day, and is only $3 one way!
